AMERICAN FOOTBALL NETWORKS, INC. was incorporated in 2015 to not only establish a new branding image by absorbing the operations of the now-defunct USA Football Network, Inc. but to also correlate all outlets of the game of American Football in North America.

American Football Networks, Inc. is not only the primary media, marketing and event resource for the college football industry but also operates a marketing, management and media division for professional football, both outdoor and indoor plus provides marketing, media and event services for the national high school football programs.

AFN's subsidiary USA College Football has selected All-American Teams and Players of the Week since 1988. It is the Custodian-Operator of the Lambert Trophy and Cups as well as the Lombardi Foundation Award through its affiliate, the Metropolitan New York Football Writers Associaton which was privitized in 2012. In addition, is the creator and owner of most Division II, Division III, NAIA and JUCO College Football Individual Annual Awards plus Weekly Awards and is the founder and owner of the USA College Football, the nation's third oldest post-season all-star game after the East-West Shrine Game and Senior Bowl.

Another subsidiary, USA High School Football, has conducted the national high school poll since 1995 when the format recognized one national champion. In 2014, the selection process expanded to two divisions - public and non-public national champions.
