Possessed with a dynamic broadcast voice, an investigative instinct for sports reporting, Guarente's first projects with AFN were conducting interviews at the Colonial Athletic Association's Football Media Session at Ravens Stadium in Balltimore, MD and the Patriot League's Football Media Day at Bethlehem, PA in July 2014. Guarante handled the play-by-play announcing duties at the 2015 USA College Football Bowl in Jackson, MS as well as the direct one-on-one interviews during the 2015 Eastern College Football Awards Banquet at Met-Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ in Feburay, 2015.
