Eastern Football Network is the media gateway where America's dominant sport was born and developed. On November 6, 1869 the first college game between Princeton and Rutgers took place in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The first high school game occurred on May 12, 1875 when Norfolk Free Academy defeated the Bulkeley School for Boys in New London, Connecticut. On September 3, 1895, Latrobe Pennsylvani was the venue for the first professional football game played between the Latrobe Athletic Association and the Jeanette Athletic Club. Included in the coverage of the Eastern Football Network are Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania plus Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
